Links to Share

I just woke up from a too-long nap and feel too icky to write something nice to share with y'all. I haven't offered links in awhile, so let's go with that:

**Small Notebook's "Hierarchy of Cleaning": This isn't the type of link I usually share, but since I am NOT a good housecleaner, I thought this was genius. As a single mom to two very small kids, I have to choose priorities. I know I could have a cleaner house, but my time is finite, and I'd rather use it in other ways. And truthfully, cleaning house has never been my forte. I sometimes get overwhelmed with where to start, and I am not kidding that I'm printing this out today and putting it on my fridge.

**Outside Mud Pie Kitchen at The Crafty Crow: Technically this was from Rhythm of the Home, but I found it through The Crafty Crow. It's pretty self-explanatory, and something my kids would play with for hours.

**Frosty Nectars at Maya Made: This is essentially a DIY for slushies/sno cones, and it looks so fun and delicious. It's also part of a really fun "circus" series she did.

Enjoy your weekend! See you tomorrow for Self-Portrait Saturday.

EDITED TO ADD: I also wanted to mention Mothering Magazine's new blog. I've always loved the print version of the magazine (which is now also available digitally), but they also have a new blog with all kinds of fun topics, and a wide variety of contributors. Enjoy!

Great links - I especially like the hierarchy of cleaning!

And, I am so in awe of single moms! How do you do it?!

Hi! I just found you via a comment on Let's Explore, where you mentioned bookmarking links for the future. I have revamped my 'future activity file' using Tumblr. I love it because it provides a cute & easy way to see all of the ideas that I love. The use of tags is crucial to making it helpful in the future. Check out my Tumblr page to get a better idea of what I'm talking about: http://givinguponacleanhouse.tumblr.com/archive.
It took me a couple of hours to set up and learn how to use. Now adding ideas to it is just as quick and easy as bookmarking.
