Today marked my official introductory post on Simple Kids; I told a little about why I've chosen to be the single parenting contributor and asked readers to share what they'd like to read about. I'm so, so happy that the single moms (and sometimes-single--military wives, etc.) are coming out and speaking about how they feel underrepresented in the parenting media and what they'd like to talk about. I'm really looking forward to reading some more blogs by other single moms as well. I thoroughly enjoy reading all the blogs in my reader--some by "blog friends," and some by people I've never talked to/emailed--it's just that it would be nice to read about single-parent families as well.
And if you've just made it here for the first time from Simple Kids--Welcome! This is my space to share the fun, silly, and messy things I do with my chicks. I hope you find an idea or two you can use yourself. The "Labels" list on the bottom right-hand side is a good place to start.

Congratulations on getting your ideas and writing out to a larger audience. You are so not alone as a single mother and I hope other single mamas find camaraderie and inspiration in your voice.
