I recently moved the sewing machine into the dining room. I'm storing it on top of the art cabinet until I figure out a better set-up, but I'm so thrilled to have moved it. If I can see my machine, I will sew. If I can't, I won't. So tonight, I'm sewing some goodies for the return of spring, something for which I cannot wait (even though we still have snow showers in our forecast for later in the week...)
And here's the Supermoon, as seen from the front balcony:

To be perfectly honest, I'd never heard of such a thing until two weeks ago. It's worth viewing, definitely. There were several families out in the street looking at it. Very cute.
Good night, and see you in The Spring, y'all!

The moon really is beautiful tonight!
What the heck is a supermoon? I guess I'll google it... I knew it was a full moon tonight and it's quite bright. I thought we had lights on in the house but as it turns out it's just the light of the moon (our curtains are open)
I was in Buckingham, Quebec last night (outside Gatineau), I agree the moon was absolutely gorgeous.
{I also keep my machine in the dining room for the same reason!)
Great urban moon shot. I couldn't get it to hold still (or wait, maybe that was the camera that was jiggling so).
Nadia--I'm glad I'm not the only one who hadn't heard of it until recently!
Andrea--yes, the fact that I could put my elbows on the balcony ledge was helpful, but certainly not enough to make the photos come even close to looking like what I was seeing with my eyes. A friend of mine keeps suggesting that I get a tripod. Maybe she's onto something.
