On a good day, there are snow angels:
There is sliding down snowbanks on one's bum:
And climbing to mountaintops with one's sister:
But note the conspicuous lack of mittens on Bojey in the last photo, my friends. We're still working on this, with some days more successful than others. And, mittens or no mittens, this poor darling really does not want to be outside in the cold. And herein lies the perfect example of the selective shots we see of people's lives in blog posts. Within three minutes after I took this photo, Bojey was completely melting down about how she wanted to be at home which was, of course two long city blocks away, hard to traverse with a big snowsuit-clad three and a half year old hanging from your leg.
Poor thing did, eventually, cheer up, after spending some time in the one place she'd prefer to be at all times--home!

So much fun - I did not realize you have so much snow in Montreal - we do not have any. I feel like thus year (so far anyway), my girls have missed out on winter.
Ahh, selective blogtopia. Brrr...we have almost no snow here this winter, which makes it harder to send the boys out for fun (but I do anyway and they have fun anyway sledding on ice). My friend's daughter wouldn't wear mittens, so she sewed a pair to the sleeves of the daughter's sweater--not sure how she got the sweater on her, but once she did, the mittens stayed on.
Such an adorable photo, though!
Lily shares Bojey's dislike of dressing warmly for winter, although she takes it further than simply not wearing mittens...
"selective shots" does this count when I have to move a mountain of laundry out of the way in order to take a photo of the book I'm reading..haha!
I love these photos, it looks like a blast from here:)
